Skillfully hand sculpted in stoneware clay and hand painted by John Hilder in Seaton. This quirky design features holes at the base of the pot section so that excess water will flow through to the saucer. It makes me smile!
Approx 13cm tall and 18cm diameter.
John set up his pottery studio in 1981. He made wheel thrown pottery which was exhibited at local galleries and national craft fayres. Eventually he developed a popular range of ceramic sculpture with a whimsical slant. Sadly he passed away in 2022.
