Craft Workshops

I'm retiring in the autumn and, unfortunately have not found anyone to take over the business. So we're not running any workshops after 7 September.

Some of the talented artists who have led workshops for us are still continuing to teach in the area.

Alison Bowskill - Driftwood, Mosaics, Wreaths, Sea Glass Pictures & Printing

Alison will be running the following workshops at Umborne Bridge Studio in Colyton, a lovely riverside venue with parking.

Mandy Stead - Crochet, Knitting, Weaving, Wet Felting, Macrame

Mandy is offering crochet and knitting sessions at " Restore " in seaton, beside the hospital
There is a small room for groups and the social cafe. Bus stop near by and parking in the layby or nearby roads

Crochet and knitting groups are generally 2 hours. 1- 2 - 1 sessions an hour long. Materials are provided and hooks available to borrow or purchase if required. 

Mandy can also teach other craft sessions with weaving , wet felting, macrame etc.

Jean Shepherd - Beading Diva - Jewellery Making

Jean runs a range of Jewellery Making Workshops at Beading Diva in Honiton. During a workshop you will learn a range of jewellery making techniques and vocabulary as well as meet new people who share your interest in jewellery making. The skills learnt vary depending on the focus of the workshop. Each workshop offers access to a wide range of high-quality beads and materials as well as expert tuition. All the workshops are suitable for complete beginners and also for those wishing to expand on their existing jewellery making techniques and are taught according to the ability of the student.
