Angela's childhood was spent beach-combing in Devon. Her love of all aspects of nature is reflected in her work. Her Seashore and Beach Hut collections take us back to our childhood love of sea and sand, whilst her Butterfly and Bee collections remind us of hot hazy summer days. Self-taught as a ceramicist, Angela is constantly trying new ideas and styles.. but the process starts with a bag of clay from which she crafts unique pieces which are fired, painted in fine detail before the second 'glaze' firing. Angela also uses silver wire with her ceramics to create beautiful decorations and hangings: bunting garlands, often personalised with names or messages, and not forgetting her extensive Christmas collection.
