Duration :      3 hours

Engraving on Tetra Pak has similar qualities to traditional Drypoint Etching, however this material is easy to use and recyclable so it’s a great way to experiment with ideas and techniques. You will be amazed at the results!

In this workshop you will learn how to make several printing blocks, engrave your design, then apply ink and print using a press. The unique structure of the packaging with its folds and creases can be incorporated into a design or separate motifs can be cut out of flat areas.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities, even if you think you can’t draw as pictures/ideas can be traced onto the Tetra Pak.

All materials and refreshments are provided, please bring an apron as we will be using printing inks.

This workshop will be held at Alison’s Studio in Lyme Regis and places will be limited to 4.

The studio is situated on a residential street where there is parking, alternatively Holmbush car park is a 5 minute walk away.

Address,  Art Studio, Kincora, Hill Rise Road, Lyme Regis, DT7 3LN.

This workshop is intended for adults and older children, we suggest age 14+. Younger children by arrangement only - please contact us if you would like to bring a younger person so we can discuss it with you.

Alison is happy to run her sessions with 2 people or more. If only one place is booked,  we will cancel the session. If this happens, we'll offer the person who has booked the class a place on an alternative day, a credit for another workshop or a full refund, whichever they prefer.
