An original silk painting by Seaton artist SusieC.
SusieC takes several days to produce each of her silk paintings. There are hours of design and preparation. She then paints on the resist, and then adds the silk paints, layering the colours. She impregnated salt to bring out the sparkle in the black background and fixes the paints.
Finally, the silk is then stretched and professionally mounted and framed.
The frame measures approx 54.5cm x 54.5cm.
