Arts & Crafts for Wellbeing

We run a wide variety of art & craft workshops for adults and children, often working  with people who are looking to build confidence, meet people, reduce stress and improve health and wellbeing.

Experienced professionals run classes in our spacious creative area and also go out into the community and care environments. Where appropriate, we also run 1 to 1 sessions in people’s homes.

The social, medical and restorative value of arts & crafts are becoming well recognised. They can:

  • help keep us well, aid our recovery, keep the mind sharp and support longer lives better lived
  • help meet major challenges facing many people – ageing, loneliness, mental health, and other long-term conditions

Our crafting sessions aim to encourage everyone to take part, express themselves through creativity, have a go at something different, refresh old skills or learn new ones, meet people, relax, improve concentration and build confidence.
