Handmade Fused Glass Framed Art
This glass frame illustrates 3 fish going in opposite directions using low relief and colours. The middle fish is orange and the other 2 are blue. The front of the wall panel is smooth with the texture being on the underside of the glass creating shadows on the front. The glass is slightly translucent, the colours are different shades of blues, turquoises and orange, you can see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it.
The frame is ready to hang on the wall with a wire across the back, it is a good quality wooden frame in white with a grainy effect.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.
We stock a wide range of Glass Relief coasters, dishes and glass art.
