 These lovely jewellery making kits for children or adults / teens are created by jewellery maker and jewellery making teacher Jean Shepherd. They contain everything you need to make each item.

The children's kits are suitable for ages 6+ and we recommend adult supervision. The packs are themed and contain everything you need to make a keyring, elasticated bracelet and ring. They include colourful beads and themed charms. Suitable for beginners. No tools required. The charms and brads may vary from the images.

 The teenagers / adults kits are suitable for ages 12+. Each pack includes all the materials you need to make the item(s). Suitable for beginners. 

Skills you will practice while doing each kit and any tools needed

  • Rondelle Necklace - you'll practice crimping and starting and finishing a necklace neatly. You will need a pair of chain nose pliers - not included. The necklace can be made up to 48cm in length.
  • Rondelle Bracelet - you'll practice starting and finishing a bracelet neatly. No tools required. Makes a bracelet up to 20cm in length.
  • Rondelle Tiger Tail Necklace and Bracelet - you'll practice crimping, tying knots in elastic and starting and finishing a necklace neatly. You will need a pair of chain nose pliers - not included. The necklace can be made up to 48cm in length.
  • Aquamarine Bracelet & earrings - you'll need wire cutters, a pair of round nose pliers and a pair of chain nose pliers.
Jean loves beads and all things to do with jewellery making. She has been 
making jewellery since she was a child and has been teaching jewellery 
making for the past ten years, sharing the joy of designing and creating 
jewellery
Jean is an inspirational, fun and patient teacher. She leads jewellery classes at Coastal Craft Collective alongside general crafting activities for children in the school holidays.

Jean is a former primary school teacher and runs and owns the jewellery company Sophie-May Designs, designing and making jewellery that is designed to inspire and uplift its wearer.
