What I do
I hand print my own fabric designs and lovingly sew them into home accessories and gifts. Everything in my shop is lovingly designed and handmade by myself with a lot of care, time and thought and make perfect gifts for friends, family or yourself.
I create my work in my small studio in Devon where I love transforming white cotton into colourful gifts by using a mixture of screen and block printing.
My fabric printing process starts from rough drawings in my notebook that I then either carve out of lino to create individual stamps or create a new screen. These screens and stamps are then repeatedly used to create the overall fabric design. The process that I use to make my fabrics is what makes every finished item unique and individual.
My fabric designs are inspired from my surrounding Devonshire countryside and feature rabbits, mice, beach huts, wildflowers, Seagulls and other Devon delights.
Once I have finished a design I give it a name - Check out my shop to see what they're called.
I print onto 100% cotton that is carefully heat set when finished so that my prints can be machine washed at 30C.
