Duration:              2 hours, 30 mins - start times stated by each date

Venue: Coastal Craft Collective, 10 Marine Place, Seaton, Devon, EX12 2QL

At this workshop Sue will show you how to make a necklace or pendant using lead free solder and bits of sea glass and sea pottery found on local beaches.

There will be sea glass available for you to use but you can also bring along some of your own to use if you have favourite pieces.

You need to have good dexterity in your hands as you will be using tools and a soldering iron.

The workshop price includes the materials to make two pieces. If you have time and wish to make additional ones, we charge £5 per item.

Suitable for age 16 +

Sue is happy to run her classes with 2 or more people. If we only get one booking, we'll cancel the session. We will offer the person who has booked a place on an alternative day or a full refund, whichever they prefer.

"I live in Lyme Regis and one of my favourite hobbies is collecting sea glass and pottery from the local beach. I find some beautiful pieces and each one is like finding a little bit of treasure. I started to include them in some of my stained glass pieces and then decided to try to make some jewellery with them using the same Tiffany style copper foiling technique that I use for stained glass. Using lead-free solder and silver or silver plated chain I now make a range of necklaces and pendants. Each necklace is entirely unique as the pieces are all different shapes and patterns."
