Have fun making paper from cotton with natural dyed pulps adding petals,
threads and other embellishments. Enjoy the opportunity to use pulp as a
malleable material to make natural or man made forms.
The price includes materials, coffee, tea and biscuits.
Papermaking is wet so please come with suitable clothing. To transfer your
damp sheets or moulded items please bring a flat box tray or similar, old
newspapers and j cloths or rags. Any items you have to mould paper in or
around would also be helpful. I have used shells, stones, leaves and fish moulds
Janine started papermaking many moons ago, attending workshops at The
Glasgow School of Art and with papermaker Maureen Richardson in her
workshop. She currently works from home making paper from locally sourced
plants and is looking forward to sharing her learning with you.
