Hand crafted in Devon. Made using locally sourced, seasoned oak and sealed with a beeswax polish.
Acorn leaves are leather and approx 7cm long.
When working with wood, Richard Woodgate uses native and locally sourced timbers to produce various wooden items. Using mainly hand tools and natural wax finishes, the intrinsic beauty of the wood is brought out, creating unique pieses and harking back to the "Arts and Crafts Movement" of the early twentieth century where artisan craftsmanship was prized over mass production.
