Online Craft Class for Kids
Leader: Gillian Beckman-Findlay
Duration: Wednesday 10am to 12 noon
This session is intended for children, aged 6 - 12. A great opportunity for them to learn new creative skills virtually with other children. We offer a different craft at each session.
The price includes tuition and the materials stated. You can either collect the materials from the shop (Tuesdays or Fridays 10.30am to 2.30pm) or we can deliver (cost £3.95). Book the place and then, at the checkout delivery option, select either delivery or local pickup.
1 March - Decorate a Freestanding MDF Flower in a Pot (For Mother’s Day)
- the mdf base (the best mum words are optional to use)
- 10g glitter
- 100ml varnish to seal the project
- an assortment of crystal art gems for embellishing
- 50 ml glue
Your child will need a decent sized work area covered with newspaper (or similar). Big enough to store the smaller elements of the project as we go.
They will need a brush to apply the glue and varnish. It's best if, once these brushes have been used that they are washed/cleaned straight away so that they don’t are not ruined.
Once the project has been glued together it needs to be left to dry overnight before the varnish is applied.
When applying the varnish please make sure that your child does not overload the brush as excess will run down the project. Once varnished the project will need to be left overnight until it is completely dry.
