Silver metal clay (made of pure silver) is an innovative material that enables you to create jewellery pieces with botanical details or unique textures.

Explore the wonderful properties of silver metal clay and learn how to texture, form, fire and polish a pair of earrings and a pendant from an expert in the field. 

Materials used in this class for set projects are included. 

This course is suitable for beginners.

Monica Weber-Butler, author of the book "Make your own silver jewellery", is a popular and experienced jewellery designer/maker and art & craft teacher who enjoys helping people develop their creative skills

She was born in Mexico, but her heart made England her home in 1985.  She studied Art & Design at the University of Westminster (London), an Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Plymouth and has a City & Guilds Teaching Certificate.  

Having lived in London for 15 years, she moved to the South-West, to the charming village of Beer, where she has lived with her family since 2000.


Directions to Eclectic Studio: The studio is 25 yards up Church Hill (the first corridor on the left, between the trees and the sub-station generator).  Church Hill is the narrow pedestrian road between St. Michael's Church and the Mariners Hall.


The car park is located on Clapps Lane, turn right at the  Dolphin Pub and it is the second entrance on the left.
