At this Sea Glass workshop Sue will show you how to make a necklace or pendant using bits of sea glass and sea pottery found on local beaches. There will be sea glass available for you to use but you can also bring along some of your own to use if you have favourite pieces.
Suitable for age 16 +
"I live in Lyme Regis and one of my favourite hobbies is collecting sea glass and pottery from the local beach. I find some beautiful pieces and each one is like finding a little bit of treasure. I started to include them in some of my stained glass pieces and then decided to try to make some jewellery with them using the same Tiffany style copper foiling technique that I use for stained glass. Using lead-free solder and silver or silver plated chain I now make a range of necklaces and pendants. Each necklace is entirely unique as the pieces are all different shapes and patterns."
